This is the new food hall for Milestone Group located in media City, Manchester.  We undertook the mechanical design from concept to construction drawings. The space is housed in a former department store and uses hybrid natural and mechanical ventilation which we modelled using a TM52 analysis to assess ventilation and overheating.

Air source heat recovery is used to convert heat from the cellar cooling into energy for the domestic hot water.

Its an excellent example of re-purposed former retail use.
